Warm Peppermint Mocha

INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup strong coffee* or 4 ounces of espresso
- 3 cups reduced-fat Fairlife or Mootopia chocolate milk
- 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
INSTRUCTIONS
- *To make strong coffee, finely grind 4 tablespoons of espresso blend coffee. Add very fine grounds to a french press. Heat water in a kettle on the stovetop until boiling. When water is boiling, remove from heat and rest for about 30 seconds. Pour water into french press, stir and cover for 4 minutes. After 4 minutes, press down the plunger in the french press slowly.
- In a small saucepan on medium-low heat, combine chocolate milk and peppermint extract and warm slowly. Be careful not to let it boil or the milk will curdle.
- In each mug, pour 1/4 cup of strong coffee or 1 ounce espresso and 3/4 cup warm chocolate milk. Stir to combine.
- Garnish with a candy cane or top with whipped cream (optional).
