Avocado Deviled Eggs

INGREDIENTS

  • 12 hard-boiled eggs, peeled and halved length-wise
  • 1 Haas avocado, peeled and cored
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 dash hot sauce
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 small clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt & black pepper
  • Cayenne pepper, for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Scoop egg yolks into a bowl; add avocado, mayonnaise, lime juice, hot sauce, green onions, cilantro, garlic, salt and pepper. Mash egg yolk mixture until filling is evenly combined.
  2. Spoon filling into a piping bag or plastic bag with a snipped corner. Pipe filling into each egg white. Top with a dash of cayenne. Refrigerate until ready to eat.
